Epsom Youth Theatre is a local musical theatre group teaching stage and production skills to young people between the ages of 11 and 19 and has been running for over 30 years. We are on the look out for young people who have commitment, enthusiasm and are willing to learn scripts and songs, work hard and have fun! We also welcome volunteers (over 16) who might not want to act, but who are interested in helping back-stage with costumes, props and technical support.
We are a charity run by trustees who volunteer their time and we rely on the support of parents and carers in putting on our annual show.
EYT is based at THe Focus Youth Centre in Epsom, Surrey and rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings, with extra rehearsals nearer to productions/performance events.
Possibly the best thing about EYT is that there are NO AUDITIONS for membership and members don't even have to be brilliant singers, actors or dancers, because our aim is to bring out the best in everyone within the group and to build up confidence and skills.
